Lakers will miss playoffs even with Kobe (chances are probably better if he doesn't play and bring his 30% shooting to the Lakers).

He's too old. Can't even make it through pre-season games anymore.

Love him or hate him Kobe has had a very impressive career. I'd have to think he's in most people's all time top 10, many people's top 5. Seeing a stat freak like Kobe age and fade away really brings into perspective some of the records that stand. For a few years I thought Kobe had a shot at catching Kareem's all time points but apparently his body won't cooperate.

Buss said recently he has no regrets about signing Bryant to that horrendous/ crippling contract -takes a brain to realise one's error.

He also said kids come up to him and thank him for paying the man what he's earned. Is he for real?! Who really gives a flying fv(k besides the Bryant family whether he makes 30mil a year or 15mil a year. Certainly not Lakers fans.
