This is not entirely true but it may explain why he is so coveted right now by GM's and various teams across the league...He's more valuable to Portland in the short team this season than he would be in a Knick or Laker uniform right now...but when you consider the tv deal and Durant and Westbrook coming off the books one after the other in the subsequent seasons...no wonder Riley, and Kuptchek and the rest are so adamant..they sign this guy..either way

Aldridge wants to be a Laker...and perhaps wants to be a Spur as well as he has roots there as well...Word has it Kobe is in fact not going to be allowed to be at the second meeting...which obviously would be a wise choice....Spurs won't get Durant obviously...but Lakers, Knicks and Miami I believe are a lock for either Westbrook or Durant if Aldridge signs long term.....

yea but with KLove he kept saying he was staying in Cleveland so obviously he wasn't. Here Durant keeps hinting at wanting to play in his home town so obviously he won't.
