#37Old rule of thumb that I think has merit in NBA. If a team, esp a nice dog can win 1st half, then they can win second half also. I think a good strategy for halftime wagering from my past readings. I don't have the math but seems Ironlock and/or Pancho Sanchez used to talk about. Something to consider or debate.Comment -

#38I'm not going to disagree with you there. Both teams do have talent. Both of those teams have a better starting unit than a lot of teams and both should have better records. Nelson thinks that he can still have his guys outrun everyone and not play a lick of defense. Dunleavy makes a lot of stupid decisions that I don't get. The thing that pisses me off about this one is that they let the Warriors come into their house and shoot 50%+ on a back to back, with 7 players. I certainly didn't see it coming and I thought they'd put out a better effort in the 2H but that was obviously not the case.Originally posted by Mac4LyfeGSW and the Clipper's are two inconsistent teams that are hard to cap. Both teams have the talent to beat anyone (I kid you not) and they have several guys that could/should or have been all stars but they play uninspired and really don't care about winning. I blame both coaches as they both seem to not care either way.
Betting on both of these teams usually lead to frustration (I wrote up on both of them a few months ago)
General, I totally understand but on this night, I thought the Jazz would put forth a better effort at home in the 2H. Plus, as stated before, the Warriors were on a back to back and playing with 7 guys. Rob Kurz and C.J. Watson both played the game of their lives but I'll give them credit. The Jazz just didn't show up tonight.Originally posted by The GeneralOld rule of thumb that I think has merit in NBA. If a team, esp a nice dog can win 1st half, then they can win second half also. #39This is a shocker to say the least. A much better Denver team was up by 10 in Utah at the half and still lost.Comment -

#42I wish I had the stat's but teams shorthanded seem to not only cover huge spreads but actually win the game as well. I remember last year when Cleveland traded half their team and only dressed 7 players (2 D leaguers). The line was ridiculously in favor of the Wizards (something like +15). I layed large on the Cav's and even had a small ML that came up huge when they won the game.Originally posted by The_KidGeneral, I totally understand but on this night, I thought the Jazz would put forth a better effort at home in the 2H. Even teams that have have an injured that get a player injured tend to do very well the very next game or 2. Then they seem to come down to earth a few games later.Comment -

#43Yeah, probably because those guys want to show everyone else they belong in the NBA. It's their only time to shine so they have to put forth a good effort and why not do it when everyone is doubting them? That includes us, lol! Watch the Warriors get blown out in their next game vs the Spurs.Comment
