some numbers about Iguodala in the finals.
    1. Lebron James shot 18 for 54, or 33%, when defended by Iguodala in the finals.

    2. The warriors won by 30 points in the series when Iguodala was on the court, and lost by 10 points when he was not.

Steve Kerr should keep starting Iguodala and playing him for as long as he can handle, the guy is the real difference maker.

And another thing, the warriors were 116-86 in the 4th quarter through 4 games.

Those numbers mean nothing, what's his pts, assists, and rebound average. Bron can shoot 33% with anyone guarding him, and +/- means nothing.

He is averaging 14.8 pts, 5.5 rbs, 3 asts for four games in the finals with his point average almost doubling his reg season average. And that's not even his biggest contribution, which is defending Lebron, Steve Kerr didn't call him "the best player on GSW so far in the series" for nothing.

Lebron is shooting 41% when guarded by other players, that's an 8% difference, if a player shoots 41% he may still be a starter on most teams, if he shoots 33% he is very likely to drop out of the rotation.

+/- for one game doesn't mean much, but we are talking about the 143 minutes Iguodala has played so far in the finals, it actually means a lot more than some people realize.

But Bron was indeed shooting horrible before Iggy guarded him, his percentages have been bad all playoffs. Tired of explaining how +/- means nothing, Iggy can have zero pts Bron can have 20 and Iggy can end up with a +/- of +10 or whatever, not based on one on one so its meaningless.

Much more to the game then scoring. He's the only guy on the dubs with any chance of slowing lebron down and has done a good job thus far. He's a smart basketball player and doesn't turn the ball over. No turnovers equals more shots, thus improving his personal +/-. Not to mention no one expects iggy to outscore guys much less lebron.

Iguodala's +/- was +16 points in game 5, which makes it a combined +46 points in the 185 minutes he has played through 5 games in the finals.

Cavs should hack him every time GSW make run. They have miller, marion, haywood, and perkin sitting on the bench. That's 24 fouls to give.

Joe Harris too so 6 more fouls to give.

I personally would give it to Steph, but the fact that Iguodala got it just says a lot about his impact on the series.

Think he got it because people expected more from Steph. Think Steph avg. 26 but it might not seem like it. Good job Iggy.
