REF Assignments NBA Finals game 4
As expected the NBA has called in the "A" or "away" team for this pivotal game.

    Name, home team win %

    Official 1: Joey Crawford , 50%

    Official 2: Mike Callahan, 33%

    Official 3: Ken Mauer, %50

    Alternate: Jason Phillips %40

Just my opinion but refs are letting ALOT of physical play happen without calling fouls thus far.

Tonight we will know within the first 5 minutes whether this game will be called differently.

If it's called tightly, which I think it will be, then I like golden state to have an even better chance to even up the series and maybe even more the over.

If it's gonna be another battle, sides a coin flip and but under for sho.

Sorry but your numbers are false -- in the playoffs these refs are 22-13 for the home team -- head ref Crawford is 8-3 for the home side -- Callahan and Crawford last worked these teams in game 4 Rockets/Warriors are the Rockets shot 30 more FT that game -- Jason Phillips the alternate was on a 10 game winning streak for the Cavs until overtime of game 1

I understand why people are backing GS...but my rule of thumb over the last few years has been to never bet against Cleveland when Joey C is reffing...especially at home....ever....

Thanks was going to post this in here because I just wanted to get other peoples reads on the ref situation but no takers and a new thread?

I ignored Home win percentages to a point because with out a baseline the numbers really dont matter and I couldnt find a baseline.

The stats I used are at "NBA rhymes with fluffer" and are stats for THIS POSTSEASON only:

JC as head ref Home win % is 78% which I assume 60-64% playoff baseline (but unsure) which is very high. JC as crew though has a 33% home winrate. 9 and 3 game sample size respectively so take that under consideration.

Callahan as crew 75% over 4 games
Mauer as crew 100% over 5 games
Philips as crew 40% over 5 games

Hindsight I should have looked at that because wow. Combined crew home team win/loss is 10-4

Now, another site that has more in depth ref ATS stats but less in depth every where else shows that ATS as 0-4.5 home dogs

Does not differentiate between head or not and does not show home team actual won loss and I also do not know over which time frame these numbers are...

          Callahan 5-6
          Mauer 4-16
          Philips 8-3
          JC 4-9

These refs, all the public money in the world coming in on GSW for a 4th consecutive game how you couldn't smash CLE makes me wonder. But then again I doubt I bet this game.

Preseries wasn't CLE -1.5 or -2 for it's home games? Obviously a couple players are down but that is a 6 point swing as right now they are +4.

Of course all of this analysis is all for not if the NBA head office just says ok extend the series tonight.
