Bucks season over, but give this a quick glance..
Giannis Antentokounmpo FG% 3P% FT% RPG APG SPG BPG PPG Games started Games Played Minutes PG
    2013-2014 .414 .347 .683 4.4 1.9 .8 .8 6.8 23 77 24.6
    2014-2015 .491 .159 .741 6.7 2.6 .9 1.0 12.7 71 81 31.4
Kevin Love FG% 3P% FT% RPG APG SPG BPG PPG Games started Games Played Minutes PG
    2013-2014 .457 .376 .821 12.5 4.4 .8 .5 26.1 77 77 36.3
    2014-2015 .434 .367 .804 9.7 2.2 .7 .5 16.4 81 75 33.8
    K. Love CAREER .448 .363 .814 11.8 2.4 .7 .5 18.7 357 439 32.9

Antentokounmpo is used in Milwaukee as a SF. Love's been interchanged between PF and C from time to time.

Pretty interesting I thought. On a different team, I can easily envision Giannis putting up 18-26 PPG.

Giannis was scared to shoot a jumper this series, Im guessing because he cant shoot, he'll need to improve that.

Giannis is a wimpy, whiney, thug. Period. Dude has been in the league for a minute and whines like he's earned every call.

Thanks for participating in the discussion, but I'm not sure what your point is.

Can you point to any figures to back any of this up?

        Thanks, TT

          I know. But G's FG% (.491) was higher than K. Love's last season (.434).

My point overall is that Giannis has HUGE upside. I think we've seen just about exactly what Kevin Love has to bring to the table after all those seasons where he has records that we can actually dissect and get an accurate representation of through averages. And I'm not saying that K. Love is weak by any means. Don't misconstrue my inference here.

If you're a good team that just so happens to be missing a 7 footer who is consistent, healthy, and ready to be coached up, this is a dude I'd take a real hard look at. 3P% aside, I think Kidd is just starting to figure out how to bring out the best in this guy. Imagine if he had a better coach on a better roster top to bottom.

You can't really compare the two. They have no similarities in their game. Giannis still has a long way to go. No chance he will put up anywhere close to 26 ppg. He won't even sniff that in his entire career.......

If you're talking about a championship team, Giannis has to be the 5th best player on the team for that team to have any chance to win. If he's your 2nd or 3rd best player you're not winning any ring.

For Kevin Love 2014-15 it says he started 81 games and played in 75. How can he start more games than he played in?

WTF? Giannis has no jumper. Kevin Love's main skill is his jumper. Giannis is a decent to good defender. Kevin Love is an awful defender. Worst comparison ever.

Yeah it's an apples and oranges comparison when you look at how each team utilizes the respective players. You're right about that. And I'm not saying their playing style warrants any sort of comparison. I just thought it was cool to see their past couple seasons side by side.

I found the comparison interesting because (theoretically) on a team stacked with SF's, imagine if Giannis was primarily used as a PF. I really do think he'd average 18-20 PPG.

Another year with Kidd would help, sure. But the guy isn't Jesus Christ our Savior either.

I'd love to see him end up on any roster that would let him flourish offensively.
