Not that it will matter at this stage but there's something seriously wrong with your math.

You really think that by betting a series price and hedging you can turn +150 into +450? If so we'd all do that and take Bulls ml tonight -175 and books would be out of business tomorrow.

First of all Bulls would not be -250 in game 7, more like -350, but even assuming -250...

Gets you 450 ONLY IF THE BUCKS WIN GAME 7. Otherwise you did all this just to get your money back whereas betting the +150 gets you 150 and you only need them to win game 6.

A real hedge would be

And you'd win 130 or 125... Far inferior to the 150. And that's assuming -250 for game 7 which is highly optimistic.

These "take a bet to hedge it later if the team does well" things are so stupid and always cause people to eat juice several times and cost themselves money for no reason.

can hedge out anytime. lots on the table at those odds. if i hedge
around even or -150 - and the Nets win, I'll have them going into
Game 7 at +850/900.
