Question for the seasoned NBA cappers
I havent bet all that much NBA in the past....

my question is, realistically, what do you think the odds will open at on the the Lakers/Mavs series?

meaning how much will you have to lay on the lakers to win that series?

considering taking the Mavs to win the west conf at 400-1 right now, with the intention of making huge play on Lakers to win first series as my actual payoff, however dont want to pull the trigger on the first leg if the odds on the Lakers in series one will be astronomical?

    thanks in advance.....

Also might want to consider this: how will Bynum's return affect the Lakers?

      good point,

the gist of the play is this:

i dont care who beats the Mavs... if by some miracle they get by the lakers, i fade them in the next series for a net profit....

if by some reason they win the western conf. (ie. we are indeed at the onset of armmagedon, the final days).... then the 400-1 pays off minus all the bets against the Mavs throughout their miracle run, thus a big profit either way, depending on that first line on series one, if it is way too high for the lakers (ie. in the laying 10 to 1 or above range), then the play is not worth it

sorry if im confusing things with a shoddy explanation

Lakers MIGHT win the western conference, but there's way too much competition to say that its a lock. I prefer Utah winning the west and Chicago in the east just for 1990's nostalgia.
