Ginobili Out For PLayoffs. Official Spurs Funeral Thread
This is the official Spurs burial thread. Leave your fond memories of the once dominate spurs franchise. Ginobili's injury paints a bleak future for the spurs. They only young talent on the team is Tony Parker, and he cant do it by himself with a bunch of guys that should have retired 2 years ago. Tim Duncan will give it his best, but without a sniper to kick it out to on those double teams their toast. They are the team to fade for rest and season and playoffs.

It will be hard for the Spurs, but Mason and Finley and Bonner has been amazing behind the arc. The spurs did lose a great off the ball defender and slasher.

I wonder what team will have to give the Spurs the Guillotine in the first round? It doesnt matter b/c I'm jumping on a playoff series odds bet against them and I'm super sizing my bet w/ cheese. They went from beatable to not having a snow balls chance.

Point taken. They still have a team attitude and great coaching. But if they thought they could win without Manu, they wouldnt have given him a $10 million extension at beginning of season. Trust me the rigors of the playoofs will take a toll on Duncan, due to old legs. Also Parker will have to play a great number of minutes and will wear down in a 7 game series. Its ova playa

True but I noticed when I posted my pick in nba forum 45 views, not one person stepped up and said a word about what i posted about the Spurs coming out tonight ready... Not one person... hey as long as I am winning...it does not matter right? I think you are right everyone counting the Spurs out.... But you never know! I think the Lakers, Cavs, and Celtics (if they stop looking so slowwwww) are the big 3 in the playoffs...

I second the guy who had Denver as a sleeper pick. Billups was the best trade in about 5 years. He will show them how to win. He has respect of all players, since he has a ring. And JR Smith coming off the bench is one of the best weapons in the league. He puts up big numbers against opponents 2nd squad. Then finishes the game.

He had a huge contract, and they felt the team wasnt going anywhere this year. Stuckey is good, but not in the same solar system with Billups. B-B-B-B-Billups, my favorite in house DJ Shout-out. Iverson is bitter about Denver being better w/o him. Hurting his pride, thats why he gave up on the season.

Drew Gooden is the fuking tin man... De dat de da da dit dau, de dat de da di di da.... "If he only had a brain". He has the lowest basketball IQ in the league. He has a lot of talent but his lack of brains will keep him in Pop's doghouse. He refuses to play defense and takes head shaking poor shot's and has zero idea of team. As a Cleveland fan, the whole city lit up a blunt the day he left

The Spurs are older than George Burns. Half the team are eligible for medicaid.

Time to go for me...but about Gooden, 20 points tonight and a +11 total while on the floor.... The spurs need any help they can get, from anywhere with Manu out.... And tonight Gooden stepped up. I am not saying he is great, but did a nice job tonight... Got to go,,, G.

The Spurs will be fine in the playoffs, until they meet the Lakers. Then it will be a battle. Denver? Spurs owned Denver in the playoffs just about every year. And the Spurs been winning without Gino for most of the season. Spurs are grimey man, they dont win pretty, and are gerotol users, but being grimey can get you far in the NBA.
