Don't get me wrong, this team was going nowhere this season, but they at least had a pulse at one point. The month of January yielded many losses... but they were competitive in most of those losses, even against good competition... that is, until the past three games. Following a win at New Orleans, this team has just rolled over and died.

They set basketball back about 50 years with their pitiful showing against Memphis, then got waxed on their home floor by the mighty Charlotte Hornets, and are currently being taken to school by NBA powerhouse, the Philadelphia 76'ers. These players should probably donate their checks to charity if they aren't intent on working for them. This team is unbettable right now and an insult to "professional" sports.

You see what Shaw said about them? Not looking good for Nugs. Crazy after that god awful start to the season but they were doing better like you said when Afflalo got healthy things were clicking for a min. Total disgrace tho for a pro sports team full of very well paid players to not play for each other at least even if they have quit on coach.

They are a BET AGAINST not "unbettable".

Well you may have a point there... ride the Nuggets "fade" train 'til it goes off a cliff, just as people did with the Atlanta's win streak. Right now, I'm seeing Celtics -1 tomorrow against the Nuggies. How in the world does someone look at that line and not want to bet the earth, sun, and the moon on Boston? I'm guessing Denver will turn it around at some point... they did show a little life in the 2nd half tonight, but this team has been neutered for the most part.

"Our defense was nonexistent," Nuggets coach Brian Shaw said. "When you're not hitting shots, you have to defend. And when you're not doing both, you don't have a chance."

Sounds like a coach who can't get his message across to his team.

I think everyone hates Brian Shaw..they've pretty much been dog shit since they fired George Karl directly after winning Coach of the Year (wtf?).

Once JaVale McGee is back and healthy they'll be fine.
