Half of the teams dont even want to be in the playoffs.

The Playoffs as they are take over a Month and the first few rounds are boring and very predictable.

I heard on the radio that the Brooklyn Nets and Charlotte Hornets dont want any part of the playoffs bc they would rather get a better draft pick.

They say in the NBA you want to either be really good or really bad.

More playoffs teams mean more playoff games and hence more revenue, so no they won't reduce it.

The first couple rounds in the playoffs are predictable? I'd love to see someone who can "predict" what's going to happen in the West in the first couple of rounds this year.

The amount of playoff teams is fine. What needs to change is allowing 35 win teams in. Either realign the conferences, or make the top 16 records get in, or make a rule that if a playoff team in one conference has a losing record and the 9th team in the other conference has a winning record, that team gets in instead.
