How often does this happen?

I have limited knowledge of hoops, I asked this question in a thread and received no response, so I ask again, how often does this happen? How often are players scratched at the starting gate?

Bogut was actually announced with the starters.

Andrew Bogut was scratched from the starting lineup at the last minute on Tuesday due to flu-like symptoms, shifting Marreese Speights into the Warriors' starting lineup.

I've watched football and horse racing since I was in my teens, some 40 years ago. My first bet was by proxy, it was a bet on a horse trained by Oscar Berarra Sr., I was 16, had to have my uncle place the bet. I have only recently started betting on football, say in the last ten years, since the advent of on line booking.

As I said in the original post, I have limited knowledge of basketball, I'm trying to learn. I appreciate the helpful insights.

Also, use to watch a lotta baseball, my uncle who placed my bet above was a big baseball fan, with his passing years ago I lost interest in the sport.

Ask me anything NFL or horse racing I'll probably know about, basketball for me currently is a head scratcher.
