Boston 1Q got me worried. charlotte is good 1Q team too???

Bobcats are a good "home" 1Q team. Away there record is 45% but overall its near 60%. Boston are a strong 1Q team won 65% 1Q, plus Bobcats are on a back to back, however, Boston are rested and going into their second home game.

Bobcats want this game badly but Boston have their motives aswell, they want to finish first.

Lakers have scored less than 100 points for two games in a row(76vs ATL and 84vs.CHA) in researching back, everytime that the Lakeshow has scored less than 100pts, they have followed with a minimum of 102pts(usually 110+) in the next game...everytime! One exception occured when the didn't score 100 in two straight games(the same situation we have today) they followed up by scoring 116pts vs the Bulls. Milwaukee has been playing better defense of late...but the mindset of the Lakers tonight will be to score...

What I see here is the Bobcats are facing the two finalists from the NBA Championship back to back style, and one of those teams will thouroughly outclass them since those are both top tier teams. Since the Bobbies beat the Lakers last night, it shall be the publicly perceived Celtics who bring them back to earth. And since I thoroughly believe that the Celtics will win this game, I'll take the long chalk.

Johnny Units Wednesday-

Bobcats +9 like their chances to stay competetive against celtics with no KG. i also believe the celtics style of game suits the bobbies rather well.

Mavs -5 Heat are nothing special on the road and Dallas has historically abused these guys. Dirk and Terry, Terry and Dirk.

Grizzlies -2 Don't know why but I've gotta take them here. Wizards annoy me and tonight they're back to life w/out Gilbert Arenas. Expect them to go down hard.

Rockets +2 Yao and Co. should thwart the Suns run n' gun antics here. They tend to win when they really want to. Hopefully tonight they play lots of D and show Phoenix who's boss.

Kings +9 Yes, the Kings. I think they get up vs. division foes and they'll feel they can win this one SU as the Warriors are banged up and ready to bag it in.

huge game out west between the nuggets and the jazz. the sharps have already adjusted the opening line of 5 and knocked it down to 4. the home team has won every matchup this year, and its the nuggets turn to hold court. they have actually covered all 3 games this year vs utah (including a 20pt home win in jan). utah is not a solid road team (44% ats) and are also poor in the role of underdog of 3-6 pts (2-5 ats). denver on the flip side is covering their home games 56% of the time. not great, but profitable over a large sample size. the recent games in denver are a wash, and so are the nuggets as fav's of 3-6 pts.

bottom line here, utah has been playing very poorly on the road (dropped 5 of 6 su and ats) while the nuggets should be hungry for this game to even the season series. the nuggets have been on a role of late, and simply lost interest when up 27 on the knicks. i wouldnt be surprised to see this line dip a bit more, but i did have my projected at -4.
