How can they be so good without a stud like J-Smoove??
Any chance the Pistons get to their preseason win over/under of 36?

Not sure if you're being sarcastic but Smith is a basketball-killer. The ball sticks in his hands on offense and he gives shitty effort on defense. He is still on honeymoon with the Rockets but I expect him to hurt that team too

He was just a horrible fit on that team.
He's a horrible fit on any team where he has to be one of their best players, but on top of that he didn't fit for basketball reasons because he had to play the 3. It was just really stupid to give him that contract.
Pistons will be doing better. Not sure if they get to 36. Let's see if they can sustain this "revival" over a couple of weeks and revisit then.

Not sure if they hit the preseason win total, but no doubt they will play better ball now that he is gone. Could be similar to when Toronto traded Gay away.
Smith starting for the first time for Houston today, you know what to do TK

Pretty much what's been stated he's a ball killer, low hoop I.q. class A loser. Not sure it's been mentioned but I wondered how the Ron Jeremy hiring at h.c. might play out with Smoove. He is real tight and grew up with Superdummy and we all know what a tight love affair they had in Orlando. Seriously how can anyone be taken seriously with a dumb ghetto handle like J-smoove

Way behind the 8 ball on win total at this point. And still some trash on that squad. They do play in East tho! Bol

Damn, u guys give this dude no credit. He was a horrible fit for the pistons, nothing more nothing less. Played out of position, shit structures, poorly coached. Why think SVG got rid of his ass, he didn't fit that side. Add all that with a shit team and a shit attitude and he had given up. Short memories guys, he was damn good player in a very strong Atlanta team. Did more damage than Joe Johnson did. He will kill them in Houston. He got Harden and Ariza that will creat space for him and he got Howard at his back to allow him to gamble on his defense. Plus he got a coach who knows what he is doing and what he wants. He has just made this Rockets team a hell of a lot more dangerous.

Got alot to learn kid! For starters those Hawks teams were never that good. Just a 5 seed or so that never did any damage in a very weak east. And teams don't pay players that kind of $$ to leave and get NOTHING in return just because they don't fit.

ebum - dont get excited about this move; he just ruined your teams chances i think...
Have a read of his numbers. He aint a bum like u guys are making him out to be. He can play. His stats stack up. His attitude needs some work, and i agree with you that u don't pay a player of his kind the Max, but that happens everyday in the NBA.
Trust me, he didn't ruin my side, they already suck balls as it is. We need a lot more help than him (Sac Kings).

Well despite what espn might think numbers do lie often. Sometimes as a sports fan you have to look beyond the surface. Plenty of guys rack #'s up but doesn't mean I want them on my team if I'm hoping for a title.

Not willing to say he's a cancer but in Detroit they had a 3,4,5 who could not stretch the ball whatsoever. Lineup just didn't mesh. Looked great on paper but it didn't work out in the end.
Now in Houston they have Ariza at 3 and Smith playing at 4 so maybe this could work out. Numbers will drop but he should help them.

They actually get the ball to the 2 monsters in the paint now that Smith is gone. Monroe is gonna have a monster 2nd half along with Drummond. Surround those two with three point shooters like they do now and the East now has a problem

Hes a turd. He'd rather just shoot jumpers. No coach has the balls to make him stop and he doesn't have the IQ to play in a team concept.

I was saying this all season long... GIVE the ball to the BIGS.... SVG coached D.Howard, so he knows what to do, of course you also need great permimeter shooters (J. Smith wasn't 1 of them) LOL.
