Well for starters they are the better team getting points. Also Houston defense has been off its game recently after looking so good early, and when that happens the Rockets have trouble winning because that are near the bottom of the league in shooting%. I get that Rockets are favored because they are home, but Portland is 10-4 on the road and really impressed Saturday night in an obvious letdown spot both mentally and physically after winning in triple overtime in San Antonio the previous night, shooting over 53% in a rout at New Orleans. And I have not even touched on the improvement of the Portland defense this year, second in points against, third in field goal percentage allowed, first in three-point defense while playing in the more wide open West.
