He said Teasers are for suckers. So i quit playing that shit. It makes sense though bc if there is one advantage the sportsbook has over the player its the numbers game. They have those numbers on point. So many math geeks and stat nerds must be on their team. Ya know since millions of dollars involved... probably some Harvard grads in the back room crunching numbers all day.

Actually the players make the numbers for the most part. The books dont cap the games as much as they cap the public. Yea you need someone to open all the games but those openers are always off the closer unless they guess right. Spurs ML closed 16c worse than where is started and thats not counting when it opened in Asia. What the books have is 110 beats 100 everytime... so you need solid opinions and ability to get the best of the line to make up for that 10c advantage plus some.

Teasers work for some and not for others. It's as simple as that. I've seen guys go entire NFL seasons and lose ONE weekend playing teasers. Teasers in hoops are prolly another animal. But I don't think they should be summarily dismissed. It takes a different train of thought.
