Is this really what Kobe wanted?
Tried to watch some of this game tonight -- Lakers aren't even D League material around him. Is this team literally just going to stand around, watch him work his way up the career scoring charts, and go 10-72? Is Kobe's ego really that big? And are the Lakers desperate enough to just let this happen? Apparently so.

he would rather be the man on the nba version of the titanic then be a 2nd or 3rd option with a chance at ring 6

the comments tonight were comical to say the least

i think this falls under the category of "be careful what you wish for"

he has exactly what he wanted.. (a BIG market team all to himself/no questions asked)

BUT.. and that is a H-U-U-GE 'but' (i guess big like this)

but NOW his abilities are so diminished.. and no one is psyched to play with him.. literally no one.
All of his comments continually undermine his teammates..
it makes it a drag for them to play hard, because if they touch the ball, and they lose,
Kobe calls them out in the media. Who them just print it whiteout ever questioning.

after the win over the Pelicans..
Love ran over and hugged Lebron while he and Irving were answering questions..
      everyone is all smiles..

guys suck up to Kobe (to keep their jobs) but they do not enthusiastically embrace him.

Kobe takes so many shots.. and it is everybody else's fault. Amazing. No one is coming next year.
Dwight LEFT cold (took less money to get away).
Pau LEFT cold (took less money to get away).
      Did not call Nash
Failed to show up at Melo meeting

he is a nightmare, his parents sued him and in a joint interview stated "Kobe is a liar"
the guy raped a girl. jackson not surprised at all..

he is raping the Lakers now... doing whatever he wants, does not care as long as he gets his shots.

SCREW the outcome of the game
      SCREW the standings
SCREW anybody else's stats/if they are looking for work next year.
      SCREW everybody else's salary
SCREW the fans who are paying the 4th priciest tickets in NBA

      it's screw everyone basically.

Hilarious that he feels like a victim in all of this.

this is why nobody should feel sorry for him
        i know i dont
he wanted to get paid, and this is the result of it
like i said, any team or player that didnt like kobe
they will all get a 2 year window to destroy and embarrass kobe into retirement

I think Kobe's main aim is to get the points record, playing on a team full of scrubs were he is the only go-to guy suits his agenda perfectly.

Ratzz...notice The reemergence of Pau Gasol? Gasol last year in LA as far as the fans and media go was one of the most disrespectful smear campaigns I have ever seen. They said he was washed up...LOL..."Whats the matter with Gasol...he doesn't care"...LOL...Espn LA was openly campaigning to have him traded...Fans boo'd and called in day after day...demanding he be dealt....despite the fact that he was averaging a Double Double..anything for a scapegoat for the Lakers demise...

Now they got their wish... Gasol took the first bus out of town...He was 27 and 12 with 3 blocks against Toronto the other night...easily the Bulls best player this year...and an obvious all star thus far in the season...This is what happens when players leave Kobe Bryant...they flourish...Dwights numbers went up the following season he left and the same thing has happened with Pau....a man many Laker fans said was "FINISHED" . The Lakers fan base and media deserve to wallow in mediocrity for the next 10 years for such treachery....LOL

lol, Menses.. look at Dwight! Even in a terrible game by the Rockets, Dwight had 21 PTS, 16 RBS, 7 BLOCKS
                that is crayzee, man..

he is playing his top game.. i think that playing away from Kobe as you say, is quite liberating..
players just bust out play happy and free,,

something that is strictly forbidden under Kobe.

Kobe's image is taking a beating.. it is going to get MUCH worse for him..
especially next year.. it's fun to watch. He is miserable. and he only has himself to thank for it.

he really had it made, and he destroyed the whole thing by being a greedy pig

If anyone gets the chance to catch Jeanie Buss in a radio or TV interview it's priceless. She dodges questions and throws out totally illogical arguments to try and justify Kobe's contract and the organization as a whole. I'd imagine and the season progresses and their record worsens she'll be a bit more difficult to get a hold of. If I were anyone in the Laker's front office I'd fake an illness and take medical leave.
