spreadsheet for keeping track of 1H & 2H ATS trends:
Full game: 3-4
2nd Half: 4-2
Live in-game: 0-0
Atlanta/Charlotte: even mojo; tale of 2 Halves. Take the trailing team for 2nd Half.
Minnesota/Orlando: love Minn to dominate this game. Will take Minn 1st Half and full game.
Chicago/Philadelphia: no Noah for Bulls, no MCW & Noel for 76ers. No opinion, no play.
Indiana/Boston: D-League team versus a team that can score in bunches. Looking to play Boston 2nd Half if the game is tight.
New York Knicks/Brooklyn: looking to take Knicks 2nd Half if they're trailing at the break.
Milwaukee/Detroit: playing the Pistons when they're the favorite is asking for trouble, even as a small favorite. Bucks could be a very underrated team; they're more experienced and have good depth. They do have lengthy guys that can hang with Monroe and Drummond. Brandon Knight is one of the PG leaders in assists. The problem with the Pistons lulls from last season -- scoring draughts. Josh Smith is still a bum.
Washington/Toronto: even mojo; tale of 2 Halves. Take the trailing team for 2nd Half.
Memphis/OKC: very fishy line. Memphis will lose one of these 3 games on the road. Grizzlies buyers beware.
Sacramento/Phoenix: is this year's Kings team last year's Suns? My answer is, yes. Kings win another one here and raise some eyebrows in the Western Conference at 5-1.
Dallas/Utah: Utah technically have a roster full of guys that can play defense (defensive minded players in college) but they end up playing like Chandler Parsons for the most part; standing around only wanting to take shots. Both teams come out strong out of the gates so who do you take to win the 1st Half? I'm leaning towards Dallas to win the game, although its a road-road back-to-back.
Cleveland/Denver: one some point LeBron will be tired of losing. This should be a great spot for the Cavaliers, right? Cleveland by a bucket looks tasty. Both defenses have holes but i think Cleveland is more inclined to fix their woes.
Locking in:
Minnesota Timberwolves -2 for 1st Half
Minnesota Timberwolves -4
Milwaukee Bucks +5
Sacramento Kings +5
