i'll bet on NBA occasionally, usually when someone's thread i trust makes a strong-enough case for it...

but wild horses couldn't get me to watch NBA...it once was a sport...but now it's legal proceedings with specialized garments...the last "2 minutes" of an NBA game is the most annoyingly-interrupted 37 minutes of contrived contentious bullshit...

i will bet on it tho' if i trust the capper..cuz money isn't annoying

something a propos the nightly diet of inscrutably-"amazing" bullshit...a particularly bad batch of it tonight according to bigdo (BTW, next to basketball, american "foot"ball is the worst fish-factory disguised as sport...officials finally hitting a critical mass where their performance is more important than that of the players with regard to determining the result...a key point of the game now seems to be "milking more undeserved pass-interference calls than your opponent"...but i digress in mentioning the other of the two excuses for sport i will no longer watch)

When they teams can't score over 45 combined in quarters one through three and then score 64 in a little over 9 minutes to finish out the game it makes you want to break something.

If the flow of the game dictated it, It would be one thing but when Ellis and Rondo are running and gunning with 1:30 left like they're down 10 when they're actually up 11-13 it makes you think WTF am I watching.

I only lost one unit so it wasn't that much money, it was just the principle. There was no reason for Dallas to keep pushing and having 5-7 second possessions.

I'm not sure why I still get pissed even though I see this on a nightly basis.
