Seems very large to me yet and still without Durant. Westbrook and Ibaka are offensively more than capable of winning this game outright

#3On the +9 as well. Blazers should beat them, but not by double digits.Comment -

#4You obviously aren't aware of the injuries our bench has suffered.
I think Portland blows OKC out tonight.
Not betting it though. I haven't seem this team without KD yet. I don't really know what they'll look like but I expect them to struggle a lot the first month.
Can Perry Jones guard Batum?
It's Portland or no play here IMO.Comment -

#6Their best and only reliable scorer off the bench from last season is out. So is Anthony Morrow. It's not just Durant.
I like the Blazers to smoke OKCComment -

#7This is the NBA. The earlier the garbage time starts the easier it is to get back within single digits when teams stop trying.Comment -

I just don't see the Thunder hanging tonight.
Westbrook and Ibaka could go off and Adams and Jones could contribute but I don't think it will happen.
The average bettor is looking at this game and thinking that OKC should cover because they're only missing KD but he Thunder have a lot of other injury issues right now.
This squad their playing tonight hasn't had any time to jell.
Hell, if OKC was completely healthy I would probably still like Portland at home.
I'm thinking like 101-87 or some crap like that.Comment -

#12How long is Durant suppose to be out? I think OKC will be okay once they get Jackson and Lamb back, should be able to hover above .500.Comment -

#24Exactly. Lamb and Jackson are banged up as is Morrow. Adams has a propensity to get into foul trouble too.

Listening to players and coaches, I think OKC has a different MO about them this year. I don't get the feeling that they're going to go all out balls to the wall every game because now that the core of this team is older, 25 years old if that is old, they realize that can't win a title in the regular season.
I kind of get the feeling that this team won't be that impressive during the regular season and probably end up with a three seed but they'll have just as good of a shot as anyone come playoff time.
With that said, fade them on this road trip to start the year. I thought this would be tough before KD's injury.Comment
