We will get to see Kobe struggle every night, pretending that he can compete on the level he did years ago, and I hope he gets re-injured and it will really be over, thank god. I can't stand watching highlights of Kobe every night on ESPN, just get on with it. At least Jordan didn't try to be THE man with the Wizards, and walked away from the game with some grace.

Now Randle is out, their best young talent, and what is left is going to be something I just do not want to watch. I can't imagine what Kobe and the Lakers will look like at the end of this season, but there are easily 8 teams better than them right now with J. Randle playing. He abused, battered and mocked Gasol on a regular basis during his tenure with LA...and Gasol took it...but it was obvious he did not like it. Dwight is not a doormat..he is more like Shaq...if you come at him, he will come at you and this infuriated Kobe..Dwight is indeed a jovial person...an angrier person would have probably physically hurt Kobe last night..Dwight laughed it off...and then proceeded to hit both free throws..so nonchalantly ...

The western conference was watered down the years Kobe won without Shaq...he was surrounded by subordinates who did his bidding...Bynum would later say those were the most difficult years of his career..The only reason he survived was because Phil was there to keep Kobe's ego in check...or the team would have imploded.....Kobe can only win in that kind of system...he is incapable of working with another alpha star...and would rather loose an entire season to mediocrity..then submit to the team concept...This is why Duncan in my estimation should be ranked higher on the all time list...as will Lebron when it is all said and done...they are the Antithesis of Kobe...
