That was a great pickup by Houston.

They are just hot right now, as weird as it sounds to use that expression 3 games in. That team gets on rolls like that, they went like 15-2 during one stretch last season. Will probably somewhat ride them the next 5-10 games or so.

That is what I keep telling myself, (as a Hou fan). I don't want to get excited just to be let down in the first round of the playoffs again.

Their defense went from non existent last year to at least playing some sort of D right now. Just the defense that Terry and Ariza bring alone is a vast improvement.

When i bet on large favorite spreads, i like when games are close at least until 2nd/3rd qrt, because that means the team will play more focused to avoid loss, and win covering the spread. When the team have large advantage very soon, normally the dogs cover the spread.

Tommy when you have time post pics from dog, and i wish you very fast recovery from your injury, i want you in the field very soon

Even with the altitude effect, this is a bad spot for the Nuggets and also not the best number-the Kings are one of the BEST back to back road teams in the league and what you call an autoplay for me 8-2-0 ATS in this spot for Kings. In this same situation last year on

You are spot on with the Jazz as they played the Clippers tough in preseason and this is the Clips what 4th game in 5 days. Back to backs at home usually tend to favor a visiting team anyway.

Also it's a bad spot for the Rockets with the Heat and Spurs on deck; only problem is I don't have the intestinal fortitude to put money on the Sixers.

The worst number of the night award goes to Brooklyn favored over the Thunder with a number that clearly the Thunder have a better shot at covering than the Nets do. I didn't bet this game but I may end up doing so by the end of the day if no 6's pop up driven by joe's uninformed spending habits.

Oh well time to keep on watching the line for MNF. Would be nice to see a Giants+3.5 for a perfect middle bet on both sides of a 3 with a buy back...
