I haven't been posting here in a long time-one thing I see is that you have forgotten or abandoned is the bet out theory that we employed back in the Underground days which I still use to this very day. A lot of guys who tailed me back in the day found it nerve racking because I will do it in a split second and if those tailing you aren't constantly refreshing your thread they may get cross with you-but that's their bad. At the end of the day all that you want is the money right?
If you have a change of heart on a particular game then bet out of it instead of just plan switching sides-this will protect your money-for instance yesterday you had the Blazers-2.5 and never bet it-but then had a change of heart and bet the Nets+3.5 without a margin of safety despite the fact that this was their 10 thousandth road game against the Blazers. Now to be fair you did in fact get a good number to bet (+3.5), the issue was the Nets schedule (5 games in 8 days). That's tough on any team let alone an aged team like the Nets.
Go with your first mind and if you don't like it later a good strategy is to simply bet out of it, especially with a SHORT NUMBER (Blazers ML and Nets+3.5) so that all you stand to lose is the vigorous.
I did this the other night when the number for the Hawks 2nd half (-4) went bad (-3.5). I had already bet the Hawks at -4; once the number went sour I bet the Jazz at +3.5 and lost nothing but the vigorous and then moved on from it as if nothing ever happened. For tracking purposes it won't look good sometimes if you are tailed by others because the uninformed will label you as being unsure of yourself but the main thing here is that the money is protected and thus a margin of safety is created. It's basically fading yourself if the number isn't right anymore-and if you remember I caught hell with some followers who couldn't understand/grasp this concept. Did you think that I really cared if I was avoiding a loss? The truth is it wasn't at anyone's expense but my own.
The one who follows another's advice on false pretenses is in line for the worst outcome. The one who does their own due diligence and is knowledgeable that unforeseen circumstances will arise from time to time is the best type to rub shoulders with; for he/she will help you with identifying a challenging situation arising.
You actually have some good guys on your thread with an occasional nut. You are doing just fine. I am a cerebral man. What I like to do is to read the poem "Invictus" after a bad night the next morning before I bet a single dollar. It gets my battery re-charged for the next day and it helps me shake it off.
