Does LeBron take a pay cut?
Under what circumstances will James take a pay cut?

Only circumstance I could see if there is a total combo of:
    -staying in Miami
-Wade and Bosh take bigger cuts
    -Heat pay some luxury tax
-Heat acquire Anthony and a decent role player
-James gets new endorsements to offset cut

i agree there are so many things that have to happen for him to do it. They have so many other cuts that have to come before him

If he really just wants to win he should take a cut. Problem is Wade is too old and damaged to take a cut.

I thinks so to JJ. He should just get on with it make a new dynasty because you surround him with mediocre players they will do great

A team that has LeBron and 11 stiffs on active roster is still a championship contender. Bosh and Wade can still play. Wade will have to change his role a bit but until LeBron leaves Miami nobody is beating Heat in East.

This year should be a rude awakening for "super stars" that team ball still wins Championships.
The big three needs to restructure their salaries to help the Heat.
Even Lebron needs to step up and take a cut, but he wont.

Lebron James has been taking a pay cut his whole career. He's played 11 seasons in the NBA, and has never been the highest paid player on his team. Think about that for a second, the best player in the game has never even been the highest paid player on his own team, it's pretty incredible really.

He makes about $100 million a year on endorsements. I don't think he cares about $10 mill vs $20 mill.

That's not the point. Lebron's been the best player in the league for a long time, and he's never been the highest paid player on his own team, never mind not being the highest paid in the league, every year he's been in the league there has always been someone else on his own team with a higher salary than him, that's fukking crazy. Give me any athlete in any sport who's considered the best in his sport, but has never been paid the most by his own team, it never works that way.

There's a rumor the Hawks are interested in Luol Deng. I like what the Hawks are doing, I think they can be a sneaky good team next year, and if Horford hadn't been injured, they probably beat Indiana, then who knows. I also like their coach, they got him from SA I think. Lebron's not going there obviously, but if I was an Atlanta fan, I would really be looking forward to the season.

If the Heat stands pat and the Bulls sign Anthony, they can easily beat the Heat. The Bulls do two things that the Heat don't, play defense and rebound. You add star scorer to the mix and its on.

yup, anthony is their missing link
the heat are a very flawed team

He deserves the maximum cash. I don't think any eastern team can beat a Lebron heat team in playoff. Even bulls with Anthony cant

Hopefully we find out. I know the Bulls will crush them on the boards and will be able to defend. The problem the Bulls always have is a go to scorer down the stretch that can get easy buckets or create easy buckets for others.
