While we have some down time between games, anybody care to predict the final score: I am going with Spurs 108 to 96. Miami has shown no evidence they can stop the well oiled offensive machine known as the SA Spurs. Intel only please.

Im also on the spurs, but these closeout game are the hardest to cap. Miami wont go down without a fight. But the spurs are tough to bet against. Specialy at home.

Don't doubt that at all. And, I am SURE the Spurs haven't forgotten last year, and Pop's won't let them. His speech today might be, " Ok men, who feels like going back to Miami, show of hands" LOL.

Another good selection as Miami does not score well on the road as a rule. BOL.

Before I went to work, I impulse wagered the o195 yesterday when it opened.
Not really the smartest thing to do when I haven't fully analyzed the game yet but I wen't light with a half unit.
It's @SAS (which are typically higher scoring games for this matchup).
I feel like the public will give the over some love between today and tomorrow, already see it go up half a point.
If Miami wants to win this game, they're going to have to lock down the spurs which will most likely result in an under.
I'm going to start capping more today Mags.

right now @ 195 I am all for that brother. I just think Miami is out of "gas". They looked horrible, tired, old and completely out of sync. My only concern is, can they score 95 points. They are not going to lock down the Spurs, they haven't done it yet. That one game they won was poor shooting by SAS especially FT's and lay ups.

That is very true.
I'm just wondering if Lebron will have one of these monster games to desperately try and save the series?
I'm waiting for that headband to come off like last year in game 6

If this guy would drive to the rim instead of all this stupid passing (hence all the turnovers as he and Wade lead the team) he would get a few more points and a shitload more FT's . He is their only hope. Chalmers sucks and Bosh is doing much. I personally think they are done. SAS jumps out early, "see you at the beach", and I don't mean Miami Beach, it will be all over.

I think the Spurs are great, in the past ten years that I have watched basketball the two teams that have stood out to me the most were the 2004 pistons and this spurs team. They can probably make a case for being the best team in the history of the NBA. That being said I think game 5 will be a close one. Spurs will probably win it but I think the heat will make the proper adjustments for this game and I wouldn't be at all surprised if Miami forced a game 6.

Yes sir, I can se a great deal of folks leaning that way. I wouldn't fall off my chair if they did win. However, based on their performance in this series and the fact that they have not even hit triple digits once, I find it hard to believe they are going to pull this off. It's like LeBron is playing 5 on 1. They scored 86 points in the pivotal game @ home??? How do they expect to go to SA and win??? just don't know what adjustments they can make. They just cannot stop the scoring machine. My thoughts, and thank you for responding. BOL in your wager for the next game.

Spurs finish them -6. Watch how espn will be all over the heat lose rather then the spurs winning.

Completely accurate.
They'll have a field day with their new story of "what is the Heat's future? Lebron to Cleveland?"
Meanwhile this Spurs team is a complete machine that deserves way more respect, they play such beautiful ball.

Guys. I lost Giants (mlb) today in heartbreaking fashion.
I am thinking of a huge parlay with SF ML and Spurs ML.
Feel very confident in Spurs, but if they lose, more than this wager in the line. Spurs +950 series in jeopardy too.
Chances good that Miami steals this?
If Giants lose, I can take that, but if Spurs lose, I may be losing sleep tomorrow night.

The line is still climbing, already at 196.5
This game just concerns me because it might have a "game 7" vibe where the pace slows down because everything is on the line.
Spurs just have to keep up their fast momentum to control this game.

Valid concern. However, Pop's is too smart to let his team fall into the trap of last year. He will remind them. Miami cannot keep up with the pace the Spurs set. Remember, despite what everybody thinks, Miami is actually OLDER than the Spurs, based on average age. BOL.

I'm thinking 103 - 96 Spurs. Have a feeling Miami will keep it kinda close, but then Spurs will get a back-door cover (and Over) with end-of-game fouls. Part of me really wants to say Spurs blow them out yet again, but I have to believe Spoelstra is not dumb enough to try the crap he's been trying to beat these guys. Plus, Spurs have been shooting lights out... that can't last forever (though, to be fair, Heat have been giving away open looks like Halloween candy). I'm probably going to lay off the spread and play the over, but we'll see.
However you slice it, series is finished tonight.
