I agree that games are not rigged. In a sport where the refs have soo much control over the outcome there will always be ppl crying fixed games when controversial calls happen, and they will happen.

Its tough being a ref in NBA, calls are close and have a large impact on the game.

I'm not one that buys into the conspiracy theories but the NBA has a definite possibility of being fixed. And it was also proved to have been fixed in the past. With that said the people that believe in a fix are not going to go away, no need to get bent out of shape about it. When you have a ref convicted of fixing games, the conspiracies will remain especially in the easiest of the four major sports to fix.

It's a losing battle to fight the conspiracy theorists of this forum.

There was a 5-6 page thread on this forum last year where many people believed Gregg Popovich intentionally took Tim Duncan out of the game last year in game 6 to throw it, because of course he had control over throwing the game or not (ie Ray Allen making a crazy hard step back 3).

You will grow tired of telling them they're morons way before they get tired of posting their theories, trust me. Best to just ignore it. I'm trying to learn this myself.

It is rigged, and legal precedents make it so. the supreme court makes it so. its entertainment open to be rigged. read the fine print. But you are still right. People are penetrating idiots betting on things like the nba wants a 7 game series as if its a guarantee that the thunder will win that game

In all seriousness, it's a proven fact that refs have fixed NBA games before. Couple that was some blatant missed calls, star players getting into foul trouble early, and the games always gravitating to the number and well, you get what you get.

Im not not saying all games are rigged but I'm also not surprised when people question things.

the exact opposite of this true...people who claim its rigged are the ones losing because they are looking at all the reasons it lost instead of looking at themselves. Its like poker players claiming online poker is rigged because of a bad beat instead of attributing it to the inevitability.

Ive been gambling for a living for 24 years. Its all I ive ever done. There was a period of time in my twenties where I had a job when my poker bankroll went bust, but that was to rebuild my bankroll, but other than that Ive gambling and i have never met a successful Gambler claim things were rigged, yet I always hear its rigged from the losers.
