Are the Brooklyn Nets overhyped?

They matchup pretty well against Miami....thats y everybody was/is hyped. Everybody wants Miami to lose so badly, theyll take any hope, esp. with the Pacers falling off. Could they give Miami a scate? Sure. Would they win the series? No.

Also Toronto is a good squad. Them going toe-to-toe with the nets doesnt mean the nets arent good.

You make an excellent point, they've proven they can beat Miami but the question is can they during the series!

No way. Lebron James is unstoppable and he will go off on them every game. It's going to be an incredible sight to watch how dominate LBJ can be when he wants to. Seems like pacers gaining their mojo back and they might be facing the wizards next round. Now that's going to be a really interesting series cause one of these two teams will give Miami a very stern test in the finals.

I'm sure he will be the one to lead the heat through the series if they vs the nets. I hope the result does return a Miami series win but won't be surprised if the nets can steal a game or two.

Im a nets fan, but they disgust me sometimes, they should have put toronto away today and gone up 3-1 , now its 2-2 and they wont be able to rest up for miami, if they do win the series, this is gonna go at least 6 and probaby 7 games, meanwhile miami will sweep charlotte and have alot of rest for round 2.

Nets are an older team, they tanked to get an easier matchup in toronto and also get miami in round 2, now they are struggling vs toronto craptors

If they get by Toronto, they should beat the Heat, Period i dont care what anyone says, the results are there they are 4-0 vs Miami, no team has ever done that to the heat ,No team has swept miami in the regular season in 4 years!, Nets have there number

So there is no damn reason miami wins that series, all they have is the reputation, and the squares will unload on them solely because of that!.

Miami goes down if they play the nets

Jason Kidd lost the game with his coaching today. They were having all the momentum midway in the 4th quarter. Then for the stupid minutes restriction rule he applied on KG, he took him out for a brief rest. By the time he went back in, all the momentum was lost.

Dumb......Heat don't care about the regular season. The Bulls have the best regular season winning percentage against the "big 3," yet would never beat them in a series. The bulls did sweep them 3-0 a couple years back and then win game 1 of the ECF, so did beat them 4 in a row, before the Heat got serious. Same thing will happen IF they meet the Nets.

wow, talk about the disrespect for the raptors team. Raptors didn't win 48 game by charity. Look at their road record and the record against western teams before calling them craptors. It is not like nets beat them 4-0 during the regular season with comfort. All their games were close. For an inexperienced playoff team, raptors are playing well. Raptors would give trouble to all the east playoff teams not named Miami. So nets are having trouble putting away Toronto, because Toronto is gutsy team that refuses to quit. Nets may have better talent and playoff experience, but this series is not going to end without a fight.
