Somebody needs to explain Scotty Brooks' rotations
Why does Derek Fisher still get decent playing time?

Why does Kendrick Perkins still get big time minutes?

Does Sefolosha really contribute that much in the way of defense?

Let's be real - what does Nick Collison really bring to the table?

This team is loaded with young players who showed signs of growth but their growth was stunted by inconsistent playing time throughout the season. I feel like this team could really get a spark of energy from guys like Jeremy Lamb, Steven Adams, Perry Jones, etc but Brooks is too scared to go with them. He chooses instead to roll out the same old washed up players like Fisher and Butler and as a result, the Thunder have the same issues they've had for the past couple years. Reggie Jackson was basically forced into action by Westbrook's injury and as it turns out, he's a very important player for them.

Brooks needs to stop coaching scared. Roll the dice with some young guys and see what happens. Derek Fisher isn't gonna give you much in 2014.

    Yep.

Perkins in the lineup is like playing 4 on 5 on offense.

Insert Lamb for a spark at least.

Jackson needs to step up and so does Ibaka.

Memphis is basically begging someone to beat them besides Durant and Westbrook.

Why did Lamb stop getting playing time all of a sudden?

As of now, they're the worst supporting cast of any title contender easily as I was saying.

I dont mind Fish on the court when youre behind, he's deadly from 3, Ive always wondered about Thabo though, dont see why he starts, Perkins either for that matter.

Thabo is useful against teams who have good offensive perimeter players but against Memphis he's useless.

Has Perk actually sat down on Mike Miller?
Jackson and Butler are pretty bad tonight, Durant and Westbrook will probably explode in the 2nd half.

To my surprise, D-Fish has actually been contributing fairly well in his minutes but agree with the utilisation of Lamb.

Remember in 2011 when OKC played Dallas in the WCF? In Game 2, Brooks rolled the dice with Durant and bench players in the fourth quarter and it worked out. They won the game.

Just one time I'd like to see this guy not go to old veterans because he "trusts" them.
