Thanks for pointing that out. I want to start keeping a tally so my plan is to keep it on this thread from now on rather than starting new threads. That's why I titled it this way rather than daily. Been working on a system that was a few units positive by the end of the regular season and figured I'd share.

I've been cold on these playoff teasers but have been picking more winners which has allowed me to hedge one of the 4 teamers and the 2 team. I'll keep those numbers out though to keep it straight with the Record.

Pacers blew it so no hedge opportunities last night. Thinking about removing all games before the all star break from my database because my program seems to be over valuing the defenses of the Pacers and especially the Bulls. Got a result last night that indicated a six team 5 point tease will hit but it's predicting bulls +8 and I don't trust them at all right now. Sticking with a 4 team I'm much more confident in.

Got hammered by Joey Crawford for the second time so far these playoffs. 2 phantom fouls in the last 2 minutes give harden 4 easy points. Frustrating, but I'm feeling more confident with this formula I'm using as it's predicting pretty close to the number.

SharpAngles, I have checked in on your thread a few times, BOL in keeping up the winning streak man!!

With that being said, truly not trying to hate, but one piece of constructive criticism on your record....With your teasers, it is inaccurate to say you have near a 70% winning percentage. A teaser is technically one bet (i.e. not 4 bets, when you use 4 teams in a teaser)....So even if you hit 3/4 winners in a teaser, your winning percentage shouldn't be 75% for that bet, it should be 0%.....So to say you have picked 25/36 "winners" is true, but because each team or total is getting additional points in your favor, it is a bit misleading to claim a near 70% winning percentage....

I realize you have also posted the records of each 2, 3, and 4 team teasers, but in my mind, your overall record is 3-8-0, not 25-11.....

Again, not hating.... keep up with the winners!

No offense taken at all. Obviously you and hopefully most here don't, but in all honesty if someone looks at the numbers and thinks I'm claiming winning 70% of my teasers they dont have much business gambling.

The percentage is the winners chosen by the system I'm using that I decide to play. Its not the systems fault when I dont believe what its telling me, Like Chicago +8 last Friday, which turns out to be a winner so I thought it was a good idea to give the system some credit. Its actually higher than 69% but I'm only counting plays I believe in and have layed money on to keep it honest.

Directly below is the $$$unit performance that is currently -0.2U in the red. The main reason I'm focusing on these teasers is the odds I'm getting mean I can be less that 50-50 and still profit with average odds around +220. I've never gotten laying juice to win teasers and never do that with my bets.

Again, not directed to you specifically Patty, just my perspective.

I would be the last person to tell someone else how to do their betting. If you can be profitable using your system over the long term than that is really all that matters there. As for the reporting of the record, you are right; if someone is ignorant enough to just look at that and make assumptions, they probably should not be betting at all.....

In regards to laying some juice with the teasers, I have found some decent success with it. Over the course of the playoffs, I have had a winning percentage above 75% with them in my personal thread on SBR..... Now if it is something that didn't work for you, than certainly do not continue to beat your head against a brick wall....you gotta run with how you handicap best....Either way, look forward for your system plays to come, and BOL moving forward

You think taking Golden State +3.5 (-149) is solid? I don't see much point on taking them at +1.5...they either lose by 2 or more or win SU. Elimination game and if Clips win, probably by 2 or 3 pts.

I don't normally take the juice, but if they lose by 2 or 3, it would be a loss if I take them at +1.5
