Charlotte "tested" the last few minutes of the 1st half by putting in bench and they of course ended up in a huge contributing to huge drought. Charlotte realizes the only way they make a push here is if the starts play heavy minutes..close to ALL minutes. Even in the last few minutes of this game, when Miami has a comfortable 10-15 point lead, and Miami rotates their bench in, we will still see Charlotte starters log the minutes as "experience gainers"
On the other side of the ball, people are crazy to think that Miami still is what they have been the last couple seasons from a defense standpoint. They have the best defensive player on the planet, and a healthy Wade compliments that perfectly. But with Wade not healthy, and a long bench to rotate in for minutes, we will only see that defensive prowress when the Heat are motivated to win. That time is not now.
