Very possible. Raptors are young, athletic and talented. Remember they let Rudy gay go so Derozan can shine and he's shining bright. Kyle Lowry also underrated. This is probably the #1 series I would stay away from just because Nets are built for the playoffs.Comment -
I just did a quick review and apart from Lowry(18) and DeRozan(23)... the entire Raps lineup avgs. less than 12 pts a game...that number steeply dropping after you hit the bench.. Nobody shoots over 16 for the Nets but their team balances around 10 players in both pts and minutes this also doesnt include Garnett who has been put in stasis all season...Kidd was a very smart player and is only removed from the court for a year...he knows the modern game better than most...Raptors rely on too much from a few players...not ideal for a postseason grind.. IMO.. the Raps had a great season that was influenced by slumping divisional opponents..Comment -
Nice response this makes sense as well. Raptors do have some low key scorers though as well in Jonas, Amir and Hansborough (off the bench). I feel like if they have an advantage somewhere in a position they will abuse it. For example if KG can't play major minutes they will let Amir or Jonas go to work. I have noticed they have relied on Jonas late in the reg season and Amir can score/reb just like a David Lee if given the green light.Originally posted by cryptocapComment -
valid point...the game is played at both ends and Toronto have proven their capability this year..I just get a little nervous about that notion that if the Raps' top 2 cant get going..they will be stretched to find the bucket..the nets just have a little more potential to withstand the shock of game 1...albeit if the Raptors show up to play there is no doubt that they are the team with the most upside postseason or not..
I could easily see the Raps losing by a possession or 2 with Lowry or DeRozan scoring 25 while the leading Nets pt producer has sub 20

nets was an easy bet for me coupled with the fact that pp and garnet always put an emphasis on stealing first game on the road theyve done that quite a few times if theyed lost theyed get game 2 then.Comment -
