Book it. I took a Clippers Heat finals matchup prop before the season started. The Clippers lack the discipline and consistency imo to win a championship and I'm not quite sure they'd be able to beat SA in a 7 game series. They go through long droughts on both ends of the court and that's a bad recipe for trying to hang with SA, because you can't fall behind to the Spurs in every game and expect to win the series.
The Spurs just don't go more than a couple minutes at most without scoring a bucket. They're too disciplined, they're too talented, too deep, and their ball movement is too good. Their defense come playoff time is also on another level. Look at their team this year closely. It's a much better team than last year. Leonard is a better player and the big 3 haven't lost a step. Parker seems like he's been resting all year. The guy will be fresh come playoff time for sure. So will Manu.
I can say a lot more about the Clipps and the Spurs and also the Thunder -- who can certainly win the West. The Thunder have taken a couple steps back though as a team even though Durant has gotten better. Westbrook is still not at a superstar level like any of the tandems were when they came together (kobe shaq, magic kareem, wade lebron).
Not worried about anyone in the East for Miami. Said before the year Brooklyn would be amazing. You all laughed when they started 10-20. Brooklyn has the best record in the NBA since then I think, without their 3rd best player in Brook Lopez, one of the top 3-4 centers in the NBA. If Lopez is in -- Miami/Brooklyn goes 7 games and Indy is not even in the picture.
Cheers.
