NBA is a Joke: Dallas fouls to send Game Total over Very Obvious fix
Dallas was losing by 4 with 2.8 seconds left. Ball seems to have come off Griffin but somehow Refs go to monitor give it to Clippers. Obviously its much harder to score with 2.8 seconds left.

Anyways, you would think by this time game is over. Why would you foul down 4 with 2.8 seconds left. Coach Carisle was shouting FOUL and you could hear him live. Well they proceed to foul Chris Paul, they did not even try to hack Jordan who was still in game

Chris Paul makes 2 free throws. Score 109 103 and about 1.3 seconds. Dallas grabs the ball and dribbles to end game. And fools here say these games are on the Up and Up

The call not being Dallas ball was BS agreed, but EVERYONE would have fouled there. Do you not watch the NBA often?

Seriously everybody and anybody would foul. I guess to show they haven't given up even though they lost the battle..: idk it doesn't make any sense but seems like everyone fouls intentionally if they're down a couple points

Well there it would've been utterly stupid NOT to foul. They still had a chance to win the game.

Down 4 with 2.6 and no timeouts the game was essentially over so all in all it is a bit pointless to foul, but everyone does it whether the game is on the total or not to it's not a game to cry fix on.

the point of fouling is that the other team can miss both their free throws. after that they still have a miniscule chance to win one of two different ways: a 4 point play, or a very quick score followed by a steal on the inbound and a layup. really there's no reason to not foul. like you said there were only 2 seconds left, so they might as well. its not fixed. they dont give a penetrate about you and your over/under bet. if something is fixed there is evidence of it throughout the whole game.

with 2.8 left it is a possible 4-pt play IF the guy misses both FTs (happens everyday)

they heave a three and hope it goes in and gets fouled at the same time.. if you don't foul
the local papers and the coaches/fans are all over you

              which would you choose?

Why not to foul. You get 0.0001% chance to win the game if you foul and 0% if you don't foul. I would take the first option on any given day.

You can see strange, absolutely amazing wins at least 1 - 2 a season in this league and that's how they happen - by team trying not to give up in such situations...

Btw, real scenario that I watched myself happen - 4 down with 4 seconds left - foul - player missed both free throws, for some reason, they fought over rebound and refs whistled a foul and gave 2 FT to the trailing team.
One in, second missed on purpose - rebound and three point basket at the buzzer.
They lost the game in OT, but still... thngs do happen and why not try if you can...

If they were down 6 and still fouled - it would have been dumb (still not fixed - just dumb).
