Hey guys,
I'm new on SBR but I started reading everyone's threads pretty regularly since Wednesday of last week and I found that everyone has been really helpful. I've taken a kind of aggregator type of approach because while I love sports, I'm just not so good at making picks on my own. However, based upon all the picks you guys have posted up on SBR, looking at stats, line movements, public betting trends, and the like, I feel like I've been able to produce a somewhat better than average system.
I started last week Mon/Tue with a 12-17-1 record and down about $1400. Since incorporating SBR into my approach, I went 8-1 on Wed, 20-16-1 on Thu, 21-13-1 on Fri, 25-20-1 on Sat, and 19-15 on Sun. My overall record since December 2013 is 293-303-5 (49.2%). I didn't really know about betting in units and all that until recently so I haven't kept track of that. Sorry.
However, what I will say is that I've bet 1U ($100) on pretty much on every single bet and I made back about a little more than $1700 combined on Wed-Sun. One caveat: I upped the ante of my bets anywhere from 1U to 4U yesterday just because I wanted to be up and it was the last day of March Madness for a few days so I thought it would be my best chance to get positive because of so much information and so many opinions out there on these games. This actually worked and I left the day a little more than $800 up on the day.
Today, I doubled the value of my units to $200, so while I'm still betting 1U on every bet I made today, I figure that if I continue to keep my bets the same I'll be up if I retain a 55% hit rate or so. Since Wed to Sun, I've gone 93-66-4 (58%).
Ok, so why am I sharing all of this? So long already I know. My badz. I figure I'd start posting the bets I make as a sort of SBR public service. Again, these aren't really my picks. These are all of yours and while I'm still trying to figure out who's the best of the best I have some early favorites who have been grabbing my attention whenever they post. Props to LT Profits (I especially like your articles), skin24, max58, and leetreaper. I know some/all of you guys either hate or respect each other but I think all of you guys are great so far. But pretty much if you're posting a pick on here, I'm reading it and working it into my considerations. Anyway, enough is enough.
Here's today's picks that I liked from SBR and my own research. Arkansas +3 is my only 1.5U bet everything else is 1U ($200). Watch me bomb completely today just because I decided to make this thread.
Anyway, I hope this is helpful to at least some of you. If no one reads this, that's fine too. I just needed something to do while my class drones on (last semester of law school). Let's win today! Yay!
