He is a Professional basketball player with years of experience playing and knows the rules of the game. There is no other reason to justify what he did. It was obvious, even the announcers were like " what is he doing". He was not fighting for a rebound. His own teammate had the ball and trying to drive to the basket. Just inexcusable.

Off course - the NBA millionaires are clean crowd- will always find a reason to say it was a mental mistake.
