weird line movement for the NYK@MIA game tonight.

The line opened at -10.5,-11 with Lebron's status being questionable, then the line dropped to -9.5. What was weirder was that the line just further dropped to -8.5 AFTER Lebron's status being updated to "probable", can someone explain to me what happened there?
