Yeah it's unreal I'm sure it happens more often than not but really sucks and adds to the theory this shit is rigged when it effects the line. One beat that stands out to me was last season had Boston -8.5 vs Suns. Celts up 10 with less than 10.seconds to go and Gentry calls a t.o. apparently to draw up a miracle 10 pt play nobody has ever heard of. Suns inbound get the hoop and lose by 8 convienently when Celts were a pretty heavy pub fave.

Just makes zero sense I'm not that old (mid 30's) but when I was growing up you never saw shit like this and we were not taught that way playing either. If you are getting smoked and just seconds left with no way to win take a knee, dribble the clock out etc. Just don't understand the strategy behind calling a t.o. down say 9 pts with 7 seconds left. You are not going to drain 3 treys and have them miss that many ft's or turnovers to overcome. Part of the reason the final min is so tough to watch in many of these gms and drags on forever for no reason.

I think you are missing the point: dudes like Bayless need every chance to pad up their stats. Their contracts depend on those stats. So yeah it was a dick move, but if you start crying rigged every time this happens, you are in for a big surprise.

99% of guys put up a shot in that situation when their team is down. It's just common practice. Now a lot will just put up a long 3.
