It's a business. Paying Kobe crazy money at this point in his career makes zero sense if the goal is to win. Are u saying the lakers are sacrificing winning for viewership and sales by overpaying Kobe?

I must disagree....Peyton and Kobe do not need to retire...Peyton got a good 3-4 years left as long as his neck is in good shape and he most certainly has something to prove... Kobe may also have a few years left but given the nature of his injuries....at reduced minutes and in a different role...the problem is he may not be able to accept that...and it will cost the Lakers dearly...
