Sorry, I just got back from work and it looks like that game already sailed. But I sure as heck didn't see anything wrong with the query. I kind of stopped with those 1st quarter games because I got stung too many times. Maybe if I come across one where the two teams from last night were both major contenders, and the loss for one of them was heartbreaking, and today that team is playing some run of the mill team full of eager beavers who always come out strong and then fade at the end (bos as the spoiler rather than the team that lost the tough one the night before?)...Unfortunately I will probably always look for some reason to make that bet..

BOL Heart.. just beware of the contrarian trends too! Things trend without logic or reason. I am with you in regards to "whittling down"! I believe in "SDQL nformation overload" is what I called it! That is....Find a few steady long-term situations and follow them....regardless of the loud noise (contradictions)!

Heh! I'm not sure if you are referring to the tracking of the results or the shoddy method of recording wins vs losses! But if you see what I am doing then you are definitely a few steps ahead of me. This is so preliminary at this point. Its like this big oddly-shaped clump of data that I have such little understanding of that I am afraid to touch it, so I keep walking around it and looking at it to see if it might fart or something.

Right now the clump is at 352 losses, 485 wins, which is around 58%, so it has dropped a couple of percent in the 12 or so days since I started posting results...Maybe it is slowly settling back into its true 50% nature...

just a basic question for an NBA O/U streak query: if i want to know what a team SU/ATS/UO rsults are off a 4 game Unders or overs streak exactly is before 2007, i write: ou streak=4 and 2007<season. for a 4 game over streak i should write p:O and ou streak=4?

because when i want it for a 4 game under streak it's not working p:U and ou streak=4 ???
