That Wizard win over the hot Thunder last Saturday night was too good to be true. Thunder shots were just not falling. Thunder shot just 4 out of 24 from beyond the arc. That's 16%. Way off of their average 36% this season. If those shots fell, the results would have been different. Tonight, the Wizards are facing not so different team like the Thunder. Blazers is an offensive power house and rank second in the league shooting the 3 ball at 38.4%. I don't think the Wizards will hold another team below their 3-point average 2 nights in a row. Portland also lost their last 3 road games. With a healthy roster, look for the Blazers to get out of the road slump they're in.

Knicks had a winning streak going but only to be stopped by the Heat last Saturday night. On the other hand, Bucks is Bucks. Worst team in the league. Knicks lost their last 2 road games against Indy and Charlotte. This will be a bounce back game for them at the same time to break that 2-game losing streak on the road.

Spurs lost 4 of their last 6 games. Missing their key players, Ginobili, Green and Leonard that has greatly affected their games. Tonight's game will be the start of their long annual rodeo trip. With a 3-game losing streak, although a close call, finally bagged a win last Saturday night at home against the Kings. This will bring back their confidence going into this game. Spurs already defeated the Pelicans twice this season. I'm sure Pops will have the to make some adjustments coming into this game without Ginobili and Leonard who played in the last meeting on January 13. Spurs won their last 2 the first game of their rodeo trip. Looking for 3 in a row.

With Mike Conley out for the Grizzlies and Thunder just had their 10-game winning streak snapped in Washington last Saturday night. With Conley's absence, we can see it greatly affected the team last game against the worst team in the league, the Bucks who was playing back to back on the road in that game. IMO if it was not for the Bucks tanking in the 4Q (Bucks actually led the in the 1Q, 1H and led by 2 going into the 4Q), that game would have been close. The Grizzlies actually did not cover the 12 in that game. They are now slipping after Conley's injury. They were lucky, they won the game in Minnesota. We saw when Conley got injured in the 3Q, Wolves made a run scoring 30 and held the Grizz to 16 in that quarter leading by 1 going into the 4Q. Reggie Jackson will have a field day in this game with Courtney Lee guarding him all night. I see a strong start by the Thunder. Grizzlies might have a backdoor cover so just playing small on the full game.

Nuggets are hurting right now with no legitimate PG. No Ty Lawson, no Nate Robinson and no Andre Miller. This could well affect their coming games. We already saw what happened in their last 2 games and were in fact at home. They lost to Cats last Wednesday and to the Raptors last Friday. Foye could fill in for that PG spot but would not be a factor. He even had 16 assists last game against the Raptors.
Clippers are playing great on the road even without CP3. They have won 5 of their last 8 road games. 3 out of their last 4 carrying a 3-game road winning streak only to be stop by the Warriors last Thursday in the Bay area. Look for them to take full advantage tonight against a slumping and hurting Nuggets.

I could see in Derozan's face the frustration in that last possession that could gave him and the Raptors a buzzer beating winning shot that slipped away. What's more hurting for the Raptors in that game is that they made made a late run after they were down 16 with 7:30 left in the game and actually led by 1 with 25 seconds left in regulation. With that loss, they just snapped their 3-game winning streak and 3-game road winning streak. Look for them to bounce back.
