By in large, we have an underachieving Nuggets team against an overachieving Blazers team. Portland just back off a long road trip and Denver has been off for three days. Hard to bet against them at the Rose Garden, I know, but at this number, it's tempting.

Doesn't make a ton of sense on paper, but hey, it's the NBA.

7 doggies outright last night. 24 hours too late for this post?

IDK, I am exhausted trying to figure out who shows up what nights.

no not worth it. Denver is so inconsistent because Shaw flip flops so much on his game plan.

I don't think the Nuggets are underachieving. They have no good players outside of Ty Lawson. The West is just too good for this team. They'd be 25-15 in the East or so (11-15 against the West, 9-5 against the East so far).

Now that said they could be the play tonight against a Blazers team off that tough trip playing 4 of the top 7 teams in the West. I'm not keen on both of tonight's games from a gambling perspective nor am I really looking forward to watching either which is rare for a TNT night.

I think Portland will win. Am considering putting a play on Portland ML. They are in front of their home crowd and coming off a loss. Denver is no match for them. Portland has raw talent and consistency; Denver has neither. +260 is nothing here.

Another typical 4th quarter at the Rose Garden.

I'd be careful betting dogs on Friday -- 2-0 ATS on Thursday and 12-2 the last two nights....

                  Tell me about it

That said, this time I'm happy. As much as I want to be "right" about this team and see them come back down to earth, I want to see the Nuggets lose even more.
