Wang is busy so I'll do the write up for the games tonight. We are going to have a play on Dallas ML but are waiting to see line movement and possibly getting it at better value. Be on the lookout before tip for the play!

Clippers are playing very well lately since the return of CP3. Everything is meshing and they recently got a big win over the Thunder at their place. They are a very focused team and are playing hard to solidify their playoff position. Look for the Clips to get a W over the Pelicans at home.

Occasionally we parlay a few of our plays together but these are normally long shots to hit and we want you to make money.

These two plays wouldn't be bad for a parlay, but if one loses and one wins, we are down around -.5U instead of 1U. We only like to parlay the ones that are -200 and up. However, if you want to, it would not be a bad play.

Dallas Mavericks ML -136 (Risking 1.36U to win 1U)
The Mavericks have been one of the best teams in the NBA lately and they have fixed a huge problem they had early in the season in rebounding. This is a team that you need to ride when they are hot. Albeit, not playing great competition, they have been dominating every team they have played and the knicks should be no different. Dirk seems to be hungry to compete in the playoffs this year and although maybe not being as skilled as some of the teams, this team seems to have a lot of heart with a solid bench. And, with Dirk being my favorite player, he might even put up the historical numbers of 50/40/90

Makes sense. I had -155 on Dallas and -190 on LAC on my book, so I decided to do a .5U parlay for the +150 combo.

Chicago ML -122
Atlanta has been dreadful especially ATS. Chicago had a poor effort against Miami last time out and I expect Thibs to make sure his team puts out a strong outing. It is worth to note that the Bulls are 6-1 ATS coming off an ATS loss. Atlanta does not have Milsap and Butler is questionable but even if he doesn't suit up, I believe this is a strong play. Chicago is the better rebounding and defensive team and they should get the win here. They owned Atlanta in the prior two meetings and I imagine this one to be no different.

Denver 1H +1.5 -115
Not a believer in these blazers without Aldridge. Lawson also has the chance to return tonight but even if he doesn't, still feel like this is a strong play. Denver is a good 1H home team while Portland is mediocre. Portland has to rely on the 3 ball even more so without Aldridge in the paint and Denver has the 5th best defensive 3P%. Denver bigs should have a good night and they should cover this 1H spread.


That should conclude the plays for today but may have more. It'll be much closer to tipoff/during games.

What's your thoughts about how to bet a game if there's no ML? I'm still using Bovada and it's not uncommon for them to have no ML for 1/2 of a day's NBA games. I can't bet Bulls ML right now, but I can get them at -2 (which I'm seeing a lot of chatter about that being a gimme).

If I can't get the ML, would your system support a -2 play? Thanks guys!

It's unfortunate that your book doesn't offer that! I honestly would switch over as fast as possible because for example last night, the Mavericks didn't cover but they were able to get the W. Little things like that can be the difference between profit and no profit so our system leans towards secure ML's rather than banking on the cover.

Gotcha. Yeah, 5Dimes is in my near future. Their deposit criteria is a bit more convoluted than Bovada's was.

Funnily enough, the Bulls ML and the Minnesota team props are the ONLY lines not available at Bovada. Haha. Go figure...

Parlay - Memphis ML/Dallas ML/San Antonio ML (Risking 1U to win .72U)
All 3 of these teams are at home and are playing inferior opponents so they should all come out with a W. Only worry really is with San Antonio's recent slip ups but they should be able to win with the help of their crowd.

Portland ML -130
Although Aldridge is out, Portland still plays very well at home and have shown they can still win without him. They've won their last three and we don't see them losing to an average team on the road which is the Nets.

Houston +5 -110
Houston has arguably been the best team in the league since the new year. Harden is scoring at will and Howard is back to his ways as an elite center. Although they're on the road, we see them covering and maybe even coming out with a W. The spread was more secure in this situation to us so we took that.

These will most likely be the final plays of the night, however, we are keeping a close eye on the Phoenix/Utah game pending Goran Dragic's status.
