Ha no stress mate. I am a doctor and used to run/interpret stress tests for the Cardiology consultant at my hospital. Hope you crack the 10min barrier for the modified Bruce Proctol (running on the treadmill with progressively increasing speed and incline!). 10mins is the standard for a 40-50yrs man, 12mins is good, 15mins+ is pretty freaking hard due to rapid increase in difficulty every few minutes.

It's only going to test for small abnormalities which aren't apparent on a normal ECG but may appear if heart is working hard = exercise = stress test. Doesn't mean you are healthy if you pass though

EDIT: I assume your are doing a standard "stress test". Stress echo's, including "chemical stress tests" make much more money for the doctor if private practice, and I know how you guys in the states are with your health care situation lol, wouldn't be surprised if it was the new "first line investigation"!

36yo man without a SIGNIFICANT family history (eg. your dad died at 36yrs old from heart issues) has almost nothing to ever be concerned about (at this particular moment in time.... not in 20yrs if one keeps smoking and drinking +++).
