#702Really wished one of you guys would have said you know Aldridge is out right, I was drinking heavily seen the line movement in Portland and thought it was smart money coming in. Still a good night but just a terrible fn decision in that game. Rookie move to not check the injury report lol. Moving on got a play I really like tonight will post later.Comment -

#703I know you've talked about it before, but you're pretty dead-on that when a big player is out, a team seems to always cover the spread, similar to Blazers last night. Why do you think that is? I can see if it's a selfish player like JR Smith or something, but you would think Aldridge does nothing but help Portland.Comment -

#705This was his fifth game out in a row.
The "missing superstar" theory you speak of traditionally applies only to the first game the player is out, and some (including me) believe its a no bet if the missing player is the starting point guard.
It's argued that the most value will be on the side missing the "superstar", as the altered line number is an overcompensation for the players absence. Many people do think (and bet) this way - "No chance GSW can cover <insert any number> without Curry!" etc etc. But not that many people with much money do - better chances if Friday night nationally televised game with more "public" money to account for.
Often, the point guard controls the whole offense, and if missing can really f**k shit up. I steer clear of these.
I particularly like the angle if it is a missing wing player who scores alot on set plays - they can easily substitute another shooter on the end of their usual rotations and put up decent numbers (when the team will give them many open looks).

#708Nets have been abysmal @ times this season. I think the heat & pacers are the true best teams in the league, San Antonio, Portland & Okc when healthy are solid as well. Pacers won't go to the championship though, bc their defense will get called for fouls when they play the heat (in playoffs), it's inevitable, it's happened too many times. Officials change calls in playoffs, & heat are larger market, we all know this.Comment -

You know my thoughts on TOR and how I love to bet them - and my thought on WAS, how I love to bet against them. Got 2 mins to decide!
Tail others small / except Under IND which I have already.
Happy betting against DEN without Ty as an almost autobet - though they did end up giving POR a little trouble at the end there the other day.
