March 02, 2009!!!! Early Bird Specials!!!
New Orleans +5 (-140). Bought 1.5 points for safety. I have New Orleans squeezing this win out in Philadelphia. Philadelphia has scoring problems. They can be leading by alot of points and then hit dead spots and droughts. New Orleans is a slow half court team that can have large leads and just let that lead slip away in the end. They and the Sixers are both similar in my opinon. Sixers average about 93-95 points per game and the Hornets average about 95-99 points per game. Sixers can't shoot for shit and are a horrid 3 point shooting team. They are one of the best in the post and Hornets are one of the best at defending the post. I see this game being a close game with New Orleans possibly pulling out the win. I will take the better offensive team here with the points.

Atlanta ml (-175). I feel Atlanta will win this one hands down. Washington gives up over 100 points per game at home and their opponents shoot high percentage shots against them. Bottom line, Washington plays no defense. Atlanta is a defensive minded team with problems scoring at times. I feel they will score easily on Washington since Washington plays no defense. They will control Washington's offense and limit Washington to under 95 points while scoring over 100.

Atlanta -4 (-110). I see Atlanta overpowering Washington and completing the season sweep against them..

San Antonio Spurs ml (-380). It doesn't get any easier than this. Duncan is back. San Antonio was embarassed in 2 straight games. They take their anger out on the Clipless Clippers tonight.

San Antonio Spurs -8 (-110). 2 words. BLOW OUT..

Dallas ml (-215). Jason Terry is back. Full Dallas squad. Dallas willl squeeze out the win against the Durant less Thunder on the road..

    6-0. let's go..

great games tom. games could go either way.

will stick to dallas churning up another win for playoff push against the lowly durant-less okc.

atl B2B after a point loss while smith sitting, bibby's opportunity to get a good game against mike james. nothing like a good scoring day to cure those snuffies. hawks will end their road woes

3-1 so far. Them damn Mavs!!! Thought they would finally get a good win on the road and squeeze one out without Green or Durant for the Thunders but Mavs still manage to cave in... I'm dropping the Spurs -8 point spread because of this. Want to stay positive tonight. Will make up for this lost by going a little heavy on the Spurs moneyline.

              Spurs -8 (-110) XXXXXCancelled playXXXXX

              Only 5 plays tonight...

              Spurs ml (-380) still good..

You know I was gonna go with Oklahoma plus the points tonight but I saw that Green and Durant was out so I said I will play Dallas on the moneyline to squeeze out the win. Dallas just pissed the bed on the road as usual. I should have known not to trust the Mavs on the road..

Actually, it wasn't amazing. What I've come to find out is that if a team usually plays a team close, regardless of star players being out, they generally still keep it close. Just like New Orleans and Sacramento. When they last played in Sacramento right after Sacramento traded some players, Sacramento still managed to keep the game close. It's a system that teams use. They know how to play a team, so regardless if any star players are out, the team still plays the same system against the other opponent.. I knew this but figured 2 players out for Oklahoma, Terry back for Dallas, Dallas will squeeze out the win. I took a gamble on this and lost. I should have known better.. Oh well, went pretty big on San Antonio ml to win back what I lost on Dallas and some.. Looking good so far..

Yea, you was right but actually I went 4-1 since I dropped the Spurs -8 spread. I knew it would have been a blow out but since Dallas lost I wanted to play a definite heavy bet to recoup my loss and make some extra monies. Still made out big today as I didn't lose any profit. On to Tuesday.
