Hi, i've been apart of the forum for a little while now and thought i'd test my luck by posting my sports picks with you guys.

Right off the bat, I do not claim to have any secret formula nor will I try to 'woo' you for the first couple of months of my picks and then try and charge you for them. Simply wanted to test my luck with some of my picks to see how I fare.
Every bet will be one unit unless I state otherwise.
I won't be able to post EVERY day, just on days where I feel like having a dabble in the books and obviously if I see value.
Tonight is as good as any to get things going, so here we go...

After a 8-0 run to begin to the 4th in the Hawks game, i thought they were going to clinch it. Too good at home the Grizzles. Not that worried that one lost, it was the highest odd game I played.

Quite happy I got this one, as what i read through other punters they backed this game to go over (Cavs/Kings) Just scraped through on an absolute bee's doodle. A win is a win.

Mid way through the 3rd in the Minny/Spurs game and they're on par to nail the o/u. Half way through the 2nd in the Edmon/Chic game and they're on 5 nets. Feeling good about these two and should close out the day 3-1

Minny and Spurs really slowed down in the 4th and was going to be a tough task of 45+ in the last. Went under.


Finished 2-2 from the night. I'll consider 50/50 loss nights so we'll see how we go on a bigger card.

I still question the Knicks and their recent winning trend. Definitely have some confidence now and playing on their home polish is also good. Suns are just in a funk, but should be snapping out of it any game now. I think it'll be a good little get for whoever picks it. If they don't cover tonight (I'm quietly thinking they'll win) they'll give their next opponent (Lakers) a real good touch up.

Happy with these two, the Spurs/Pels game had 67% punters backing the over which I thought which was odd. Suns lucked out in OT, but didn't deserve to win. Unlucky though.

I've backed Townsville to win by more than 2 points tonight simply because they can't keep losing games by such small margins. Finally they're back at home and will want to take this big scalp.

* The day the All Star starters were announced and LaMarcus Aldridge wasn't announced, he went on a killer game scoring 40+. He felt snubbed for not being a starter and like he said post game, he deserved to be in there.
Tonight, Kyle Lowry, the most underrated point in the league was left out and he knows it. The Raps, especially him, will get up in Denver and shouldn't even needs this spread, but outright win with a few points spare. This is definitely my power play for this evening.

Value for money in this game at this stage is Taipans +6.5
Adel have had a bigger rest but are coming off another lost to the Kings. Whilst the Taipans are hot off their OT win against top dog Wildcats on the road. The Taipans should stay in touch long enough to cover the spread here.

After mulling over the Cairns game this arvo, I've decided I'm gonna give Cairns +6 against the Adel boys in the NBL. I'm so close to giving Cairns just the outright win but as it stands, Cairns line.

Another win in the bag for this game, with just under 8 seconds to play in regulation the 36'ers get up by a pair. Good thing i went with the spread and not the outright win like i was thinking.

*At this point KD is absolutely untouchable. He got props from the reigning MVP throughout the week, being told he's ungaurdable and he leads a team that just keeps pounding other teams on the road. Washington haven't played in three days and i'm still considering giving a quater one line to OKC too. Washington will be late to fire on their home deck whilst Durant and co will continue to roll on by.

Bobcats +8.5
* Two teams I don't quite have exact handles on this year. The Bobcats did well in the 'mega' stadium last night in Los Angeles and pulled the win whilst the Suns had the night off. Phoenix are extremely explosive on the offensive end but I see the Bobcats slowing them down enough to pull within 8 points of them during this matchup. Jefferson will again stack another double double on his career stats tonight as no one will be able to match him in the paint.

10 Units on both Brisbane and Central Coast to score in their matchup tonight. As you can see from the screen shot the bet was made and even though not many people probably follow my plays, i'll count this towards my own personal tally because it was a winner and i did play it.



Not all is lost. One game tomorrow that i may skip for the American SuperBowl, but then again...
