He actually put himself at a disadvantage by posting -3 instead of -2.
Perhaps he played and bet the line early when it was -2 and then when he posted his play the line had changed to -3 and he was trying to be honest? Just saying.
Checking yesterday's line movement throughout the day, no one here had exact lines posted as various books had different lines. And I am sure bookies did as well.

Kermit, we all get that instance..however even before this contest I'd question his lines.. kind of like Tinoker55 from Covers back in the day. His lines are bad..others have noticed and I really dont care but in this contest it should be the right line. I get lines from a very respectable book.. Why cheat on a line in the first place.. IMO to some guys they think that added half point will help them somehow..Comment -
You should have stipulated in the rules from the start that the lines would be those from right here at SBR. That is how I would have done it.
It is no secret that there are books out there that are known for being Pro-favs and others that are Pro-Dog.
His lines might be coming from a bookie and bookies do vary in their lines.Comment -
Looking back I do agree I should've made a stipulation about lines.. I mean if he at least tells us which book he got his line then most would not give him a hard time.. Let's be honest here.. He's new here and you have to earn respect.. I might tell stories but I never ever gave a fake line to better my chances of looking good or winning a bet.. at least guys at Covers can attest to that as well.Comment -

Mega keep doing your thing. Don't let them take you out of your game. Lines do move, especially when big bets get placed on one side, and it's impossible to say whether a line is wrong or right unless you monitor it every 5 minutes throughout the day. I don't have that kind of time. If you and Philly and JAnthony all end up agreeing we'll do it just to have uniformity on the book. Too much variation between books.Comment -
Yeah. That would be the only real fair way.
Smart cappers jump on good lines early like a -2, while other ones may wait until later for a line to rise to jump on it.
There are a lot of variables and strategies involved with capping to have a contest like this, so you guys will have to find the best system that will work.Comment -
I think time shouldn't matter. As long as you grab your line from SBR at anytime throughout the day before the game starts. Maybe even copy and paste your plays? IDK shouldn't come to that but whatever you guys decide.Comment -

Daily Summary: Mega must have stopped at a gas station to fuel up yesterday, because today he put the pedal to the floor and put miles between him and his closest competitor. I can feel another megastreak coming. He's only had one negative day! JAnthony had a rough day at the office today dropping a point. He went 1-2.
