Need Thoughts and Input - LA LAKERS
Ok I was going to post this in CK or Schaap's thread but I didnt want to take their space. I've done my research and I cant make up my mind why I still love the LA LAKERS -2.5 so much so prove me wrong or give me some inputs

I've done my numbers and I have the LA Lakers winning by 6 pts worst case 3 if 3 then -2.5 is still very good.

Reasons to not take LA Lakers:
    1. The Lakers are the best team in the West however their road record 21-6 is very close to Denver's 21-7 home record.
    2. Back to back games? - but didnt Phil bench all the starters 4th quarter b/c it was an ugly game
    3. I think this is the 7th game in Laker's last 11th days is that alot of games? So could fatigue be a factor - but like number 2 didnt Phil bench all the starters to let them rest?
    4. Who's the hungrier team - Lakers beat Denver 2 times already this season so revenge could be in the air
    5. Not sure if accurate or not but I think freaking Brandon Lang is on the Lakers too and I hate this mofo he like a jinx!!!

Now why I should take the LA LAKERS!!!
    1. Lakers hands down best team in the West if not NBA!!!
    2. back to back games mean nothing - they've been killing it back to back games
    3. Fatigue - how do you become fatigue if your starters were bench 4th quarter
    4. Lakers lost championship to Boston last year I think they want to make a run and a statement from now till the playoffs - Boston just got Marbury (could be Boston's jinx) but Lakers going to prove to everyone why they are the best.
    5. man I hate Brandon Lang he seems to be a jinx on all my big plays I havent won 1 game so far when he post his picks however every dog has his day right???

Ok ok that's it.....other games I have a lean on and probably will play too just in case my Lakers go belly up b/c all my eggs are in one basket:

    Chicago -5
New team and all but last few games they still sick ATS and washington just dont have it unless maybe maybe gilbert areanas comes back

these last 2 teams not sure what became of them but man all i know is they been covering: GS and LA Clippers

    Ok that's it

Nuggets are like a black hole in outerspace which sucks in and eats our money. How many times do Nuggets have to loose us all money before they are blacklisted for good and banished from the betting world.

I will not play this team untill they have proven themselves worthy.

At least Lakers are pretty stable, you know what your getting with them.

Personally its Lakers or a No Bet, its better to flip a coin with that crappy Nuggs team.

Here is what I wrote in Deluxe's thread...

*The Lakers have won 6 straight and are 13 - 1 over their last 14 games...
*The Lakers are one of the country's favorite teams, and obviously a team squares love to bet

(I'm not inferring betting the Lakers is square, I'm just saying squares like them as well).

Considering this information, bookmakers are putting this game at a virtual coinflip? Really?

        I can't convince anyone that trap lines do or don't exist. But you have to take a side here, either;

        A) The bookies made a gross miscalculation (which of course they made no effort to fix when heavy action came in on LA)
        or
        B) The bookies have a lean on Denver and want you to think the Lakers are the right side here

Option A just seems more feasible to me.

I was on Houston yesterday b/c I felt Cleveland didnt meet a good calibre team away and if the Lakers were playing a team that plays any defense then maybe maybe I'll stay away from this game but in this case they playing Denver - denver is like GS, Phoenix, NYK all run and gun and no defense

surprising I dont see Lakers not covering the spread until they play Portland and if Portland doesnt do the job then Houston will definitely
