By looking at the last games both teams have played ... the Under seems to be the right pick.

I'm waiting on the Lakers line as well but I think the Cav's are my only play of the day. The over/under line is about spot on so that's a tough one. I'd lean the under but I think I'm staying off that. GL2US

Rockets is the play tonight. They are scoring more points without McGrady, defending home court, and have been playing well vs the Cavs.
I'd take the Rockets at a pick. Just my opinion.

West is playing tonight. Sat out the Griz game because of soreness in his wrist but is good to go. Gibson had a good last game and has played well in the state of Texas (home). Look for Mo, Delonte, Gibson and Szerbiak to all have good games as the offense is geared to them getting open shots. They also get a bunch of steals in cutting lanes which lead to fast breaks. This game is equally important to both teams as the Rockets are trying to solidify their playoff spot in the west. They are 8-2 in the last 10 with a 5 game win streak. They are well past Mcgrady and this would be a statement game if they win. Cleveland has the same 8-2, 5 game streak but needs to prove that they can win on the road.
On paper this is a close matchup thus the tight line. The Rockets have played easier competition (teams fading) the last 10 games and Cleveland has better team chemistry. Add Clevelands better defense and the Xfactor in Lebron and I give them the edge even with some Houston home cooking. One other point is that Cleveland is the deepest team in the league and even in tight games they kick in in the 4th quarter. They are more rested and it should show in the 2nd half. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Rockets come out strong at first but falter in the 4th.
I know these 2 teams more than any other in the NBA. I've seen every Cav game and 95% of the Rockets.

I have the lakers at -9.5 O/U is 234. Nash had a pretty bad ankle sprain the other night, couldnt finish the game against the bobcats. Who do you guys like? I am thinking of taking the lakers here, the suns defense is so bad and if they dont hit those jumpshots, the lakers should win by 10+.

FYI i like the Rockets ....but for everyone worried about the home court advantage the Rockets dont Really have one. Besides all of yalls perception of texas and cities in texas the toyata center is FULL of suites and bars with the exeption of 1 section known as the red rowdies most people attend the games as a social gathering rather than a sporting event. The atmosphere is Very high class and the majority of the seats stay empty no matter how many tickets are sold. MOre people will be there to watch lebron than the rockets

Like the Cav's pick, but I think the -9.5 spread on the Lakers is too much, I just rolled with the ML on the Lakers. Good Luck though.

I have tickets for the game tonight but I think I'm staying home for this one (my theatre has a much better view). I agree that many people just come to the game to network and get their drink on but the NBA reffing has been horrible this year. The disparity in fouls called for the home team is quite disconcerting and needs to be considered for anyone capping. Many of today's refs are more concerned with getting their own face time and some have personal agenda's. Some Cleveland fans think there's an unwritten rule this year by Stern for refs to allow Lebron to get banged up all in a conspiracy to get him to NY. They have been calling phantom travels on him and he's had guys draw blood without fouls being called for him so I kinda believe the theory as well.
Not sure what we will see tonight but I wouldn't be surprised if the refs gift Houston 5-7 pts as the home team. You got to figure this in the total. Cleveland is a no excuse team and is use to it and has done very good playing through the BS.
