For those who know me or have seen me around, I like to put my two cents whenever I feel it's applicable. I haven't started a thread on posting my plays in quite some time, possibly since I haven't been gambling as often as I once used to. But for the past month I've been hitting my local book over the head almost every day by playing a three game parlay and betting two of those games straight as well. It's funny because naturally I don't hit every parlay but I tend to hit the straight picks and for the past month, I've won the two straight games at around an 80% clip. I haven't had a single night where all three picks in my parlay lost (knock on wood). Also, I'm tired of online books because I know I'm a degenerate and I will start going wild with the "live" betting and taking last minute action on late games just for the sake of trying to get back some losses or trying to win more. So using my local book is good in forcing me to make fewer plays and not doing anything on the "spur of the moment" since he doesn't take action too late.
As for the method to my madness in selecting my picks, it's just like most others out there. I look at certain things, like injuries, recent performance for the past ten games or so, if the team is particularly streaking in any specific aspects, any new developments, etc. No rocket science here nor any write ups.
For December 16th, 2013:
Parlay:
T'wolves -2
Knicks -1.5
Spurs -3
Risking $30 to win $180
Straight:
T'wolves -2 & Knicks -1.5
Risking $110 to win $100
BOL everyone!
